5K RUN & 1 MILE FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK
Join us in a FUNdraiser to support Officer Gumm and family.
Officer Gumm is an 18 year veteran and K-9 handler with the Wichita Police Department. Recently receiving a diagnosis of metastatic esophageal cancer that has now spread to his liver.
Saturday, September 3rd
5k start @ 8 am
1 mile @ 9 am
Event will be held at 455 S. Wichita St. (across from the Hyatt Regency Hotel)
- course will follow the river
$25 race sign up
- cut off Friday, September 2nd @ noon
$35 race sign up + #294STRONG t-shirt
- Sport-tek, military green, adult sizing XS - XL

The 5k is an official timed race (chipped bibs) with Competitor Choice Timing Specialist, results will be posted.
This will NOT be professionally photographed nor have medals/awards.
Event will include other activities including
- “Touch a Truck” an opportunity to check out multiple displays of law enforcement rigs
- Meeting K-9 hero’s
- Breakfast provided by Chic-Fil-A
